Euro is the European currency (money).
It was born in 1999 (the sign was born in 1996).
The euro is divided into 100 (a hundred) cents.
The coins are issued in €2, €1, 50c, 20c, 10c, 5c, 2c and 1c denominations.
Notes are issued in €500, €200, €100, €50, €20, €10, €5. Each banknote has its own colour.

Columbus Day, October 10th

In Spain, the 12th October is a school holiday.

In North America and other countries in the New World, celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas, wich occurred on October 12, 1492.

In the United States, Columbus Day is always celebrated on the second Monday in October. In 2011 is celebrated on Monday, October 10.
